Surprisingly easy and a whole lot of fun, painting your shoes is a creative way to show your individuality.
All that you need is an idea, some fabric paint, brushes, and a pair of shoes. [Personally, I prever canvas-style shoes without laces, because they have a lot of space to paint on.]
~*~ Tips ~*~ -If you're going for a 'galaxy' style look, go for black are dark blue shoes. If you have to paint the background in, it can cause them to be really stiff. -Things change as they dry. Not everything looks the same wet as dry. Make sure you leave your shoes in a safe spot to dry. Depending on how much paint you've used, how long it takes. -So many brushes! Going for details? Try using the tip of a pin for uber-tiny dots. Aiming for wide-spread color? Try a cosmetic sponge. -Have fun with it! Mix colors, try different combinations.
